Inspired by the powerful sites and scenes that her native Texas has to offer, SMU grad and budding artist Natalie Erwin is making a name for herself on the (regional and national) art scene. Her modern approach to artwork surpasses the typical brush to canvas approach with her combination of natural elements such as milk paints, wood burning, and creating original stain colors, her particular medium is not only stunning, but truly unique. Her most recent collection, the Ranch Series, has gotten rave reviews, while her other collections (Wildlife, Tree & Nest, Dog Hunting series) continue to spark the interest of art lovers here in Texas and have gained her national attention from internationally renowned art critic, Sister Wendy.
