Glasshouse: More Than "Typical" Glass

Susan King, Glasshouse, shares some of the many ways to utlize glass in ways you may have never thought of:

At Glasshouse, we have had a lot of fun experimenting with our clear textured glasses and colored glasses. We can silver the back for a mirrored affect and can also antique the silver for an aged affect.

It’s great on a piece of furniture or a ceiling for example. We have also painted the back of the clear glass with metallic paints to achieve a gold leaf, platinum or copper affect. This can be beautiful when the glass has a sandblasted design in it also.

Painted glass surfaces such as countertops and backsplashes have become very popular. We can use any color paint you would like. We have some great examples in our showroom for you to see. Come and see for yourself.
