Designers Shine at the 2010 Legacy of Design Awards
New Sponsor (DG Publishing), new night (Wedneday before Metrocon10), new venue (The International on Turtle Creek) and new ticket price ($10).... everything was new, new new at the 2010 Legacy of Design Award Ceremony last week, hosted by ASID Texas. Over 60 DFW designers and design firms took home beautiful, handmade glass awards (created by David Gappa of Vetro Art Glass) for their stunning interior projects this year.
"Seconds Sale" at Vetro Fine Art Glass
What is a "second sale"? Twice a year Vetro Fine Art Glass invites you to shop their creations that didn't quite make the gallery cut. There might be a slight imperfection, color variance or maybe they just didn't favor the piece as much as another. All the same, they love offering their fine art glass seconds at 25% to 75% off retail. Owner David Gappa staggers the seconds inventory by bringing out new pieces every week.
