As we close out 2011 and look forward to the New Year, I am looking forward to the return of bold color in my designs. The Fall High Point market gave us a sneak peek of upcoming bright colors. With this year being an abundance of bright and vibrant colors, spaces are sure to be lively and one-of-a-kind. Gary Riggs will have a brand new showroom that will rival other spaces of its kind not only regionally, but nationally. The new space is on Alpha Road across from the Galleria, and will be one of the largest in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at 45,000 square feet. The immense space for his retail showroom is the product of what used to be Crate and Barrel and Restoration Hardware. By merging two vast spaces into one, Riggs is completely redesigning its exterior to tie the two architectures together.

It was stated to be “an elemental journey for interior designers.” Colormix 2012 was presented by Ashlynn Bourque with Sherwin-Williams here in Dallas and guest speaker, Jackie Jordan, Director of Color Marketing, The Sherwin-Williams Co.
